Is a full independent environmental management services company that specializes in educating not only the rural but also the urban communities on the need to keep the environment clean in order to prevent possible outbreak of epidemic and diseases that could negatively affect the health of both the rural and urban dwellers.

Anova Integrated Systems (AIS) Limited. A Nigerian Company with CEC registration no RC 700603 started operations some years back. The passion for the less privileged in our local communities who are constantly being exposed to attacks of vulnerable diseases caused primarily by the misuse of our environment gave birth to ANOVA ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES. This outfit started by giving free training on how to prevent widespread of diseases such as Malaria fever, typhoid fever, Cholera, Water born diseases and others.

 Tremendous success were recorded when our statistical data shows an appreciable percentage reduction in the widespread of communicable diseases and death in the rural communities where our training programmes were carried out.  Now having detected more ways our environment are being degraded, Anova Integrated Systems (AIS) has decided to fashion out ways of combating environmental degradation through the use of scientific research, acquisition of knowledge through environmental training, workshops, working with states and federal ministries of environment to tackle these endemic problems of our environment.

 The environment where we live in must be protected! We are to ensure that our activities do not have negative impact on the environment. We must ensure that the qualities of Air, Water Soil, Vegetation, Wildlife, Fisheries are conserved. Over the years, ANOVA ensures that the National Policy on environment

are taken to all the rural communities and are strictly adhere to through awareness campaign programmes thereby improving the health standards in the communities.

. Some of the National Policy goals on environment are as follows:

- To secure for all Nigerians a quality of environment adequate for their health and  well    being.

- To conserve and use the environment and natural resources for the benefit of present and future generation.

- To raise public awareness and promote understanding of linkages between environment and development and to encourage individual and community participation in environmental improvement efforts.

- To cooperate in good faith with other international organizations/agencies to achieve optimal use of trans-boundary environmental pollution.

- Restore, maintain and enhance the ecosystems and ecological processes essential for the functioning of the biosphere to preserve biological diversify and the principle of optimum sustainable yield in the use of living natural resources and ecosystems.

We also collaborate with ministries of environment to carry out Site Assessment (SA), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Evaluation Reports (EER) etc.

The objective of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is primarily to identify ways in which the negative effects of a proposal could be measured and prevented or ameliorated either by alterations of introducing protective measures.

It is a formal study process used to predict the environmental consequences of a proposed major developmental project.

At Anova, we advice and carry out all these exercises professionally in accordance with the regulations of both the state and the federal ministries of Environment. 

AES over the years has decided to fashion out ways of combating environmental degradation through the use of scientific research, acquisition of knowledge through environmental training and workshops within Nigeria and abroad. Poverty reduction in the local communities
Environmental management is important for poverty reduction, Environmental drivers of poverty – such as loss of soil fertility, lack of clean water, and vulnerability due to natural hazards/disasters, climatic variation and long-term climate change should always be addressed by the authorities.

Human Development
Health: Environmental issues in health programmes can be a cost effective way of improving health outcomes. For example, AES can provide environmental health education  for primary healthcare workers.

Environmental education improves access to safe water and sanitation that bring major environmental health benefits, particularly when combined with hygiene education. Indoor air quality can be improved, for example by use of clean fuels, improved household ventilation, and improved cooking methods. There is a particular benefit for women and children.

Other environmental health improvements provided by AES include initiatives to reduce
injuries at home, at work and on the road, as well as improving hazardous clinical waste management, reducing exposure to environmental contaminants (such as pesticides and heavy metals) and the distribution of pesticide/mosquito's bed nets etc.

AES equally focus on providing healthy environments or children, particularly in areas where they live or go to school. Issues to consider include urban/ambient air pollution, road accidents and hazardous waste.
